Trail clearing efforts moved into the Little Belts over the past couple weeks. Specifically in the area east of Monarch – Hoover Ridge / Bender Creek area. Here’s a snippet of a video one of our Trail Stewards recorded and edited:

GFTBRA hires a crew of Trail Stewards annually to help clear trails in Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest, typically in the Highwoods and Little Belt Mountains. This has been made possible through several grant sources and in direct partnership with USFS.
