Lots of trail clearing updates in the Little Belts leading up to Father’s Day. Our Trail Steward crew cleared 736 Hoover Ridge up to the snow line, about 1 mile from pioneer junction. 732 Oti Park cleared to 736. 731 Bender Creek cleared. 726 and 736A (Tin Can trail) cleared. Also spent another day in the Highwoods cleaning up some newly fallen trees and brush.
Received trail clearing reports from a group of GFTBRA members that they helped clear the following trails: Placer Gulch, Silver Gulch, Dry Wolf, Butcher Knife, Running Wolf, Band Box, Sheet Mtn, Gibson.
Received trail status reports on Pilgrim Creek this week where several volunteer groups have been cutting. Most recently some volunteers have been working there way in from the south, while there was a different trail steward crew working their way in from the north side. Many hours and days have already been put in, with many more still to come.
