Random trail updates from around the Helena Lewis & Clark Forest.

Highwoods – Took a ride in the Highwoods today and most everything is still looking good. Stopped and cut this one large log that fell across the trail, but everything else was still cleared since the last report we received.

Pilgrim Creek – Received reports from volunteers that they were working in from the south side. Another crew noted that they spent 4 days clearing from the north end and made it up and over the mountain, down past the switchbacks. Then another couple members noted that they helped clear down to the Pilgrim Trail intersection even further along. Our Trail Steward crew will be in the Logging Creek area working this week and will try to get over to Pilgrim Creek to check status and help as needed.

Airplane / Balsinger / Taylor Hills – received report from another crew that they cleared these trails last week.

Lost Stove / Williams Mtn – received report from volunteers last week that they were able to ride these trails. They said they ran out of time clearing and left approximately 13 trees that still need clearing.
