Deep Creek trail 311 progress to the Smith River noted by the blue dot on the Avenza map below, accurate as of last night around 5pm 8/20/2024. It’s now a race with time, since this section of trail is only open 7/15-8/31 each year. It looks like approximately 1.5 miles left to clear and our trail steward crew will be out there this week as many days as possible.

Received word that another trail crew will be working on Deep Creek trail #316 South Fork this week.

People riding Airplane Trail / Balsinger said they had to cut around 5 trees out of the trail this past week.

Baldy, Hoover, Bender, Pioneer Ridge, Lucy Park, Villiars Creek, Oti Park trails all clear with only a couple trees being removed this past weekend.

Anyone ridden some of the trails in the SE Little Belts lately? Haven’t received reports on Nevada Narrows, Mt High, Haymaker, Morrisy, Muddy Mtn, etc in awhile.
